1931 CADILLAC V-12 Car for Sale
After electrifying the luxury automobile market in 1930 with the
introduction of its magnificent V-16 powerplant Cadillac filled in its
model range in 1931, adding a V-12 to give the herald's marque an
unprecedented range of luxury models.

The 370A V-12 displaced 368
cubic inches, essentially the 452 cubic inch V-16 with four fewer
cylinders.

The commonality allowed Cadillac to incorporate all the
visual and engineering refinements of the V-16 in its smaller sibling,
creating the same stunning underhood presentation that made Cadillacs
as attractive with their engines exposed as they were when buttoned
up.

Mounted on the shorter wheelbase of the V-8 Cadillacs, the V-12s'
coachwork was tightly integrated, especially when designed and built
by Fleetwood as this 1931 Cadillac 370-A V-12 Roadster is.

One of only
91 built in this style, it is an older restoration evidenced by 1978
and 1984 AACA National
First Prizes yet still presents like a five or
six year old restoration. Finished in silver with blue fenders it has
a blue leather interior and dark blue cloth top, body color wire
wheels with chrome spokes, wide whitewall tires, dual side mounts with
strap on mirrors, rumble seat, golf bag door, small Pilot-Ray driving
lights, side curtains and wind wings.

The paint, chrome and interior
are excellent, attesting to the quality of its restoration and
continuing maintenance.
