Italian superyacht builder Baglietto has marked its 170th anniversary during a two-day event with around 250 guests. Attendees included national and local authorities, clients, members of the press, and associates of the brand.
The event, hosted by the Gavio group and Baglietto’s management, commemorated the shipyard’s historical significance and offered a glimpse at its future outlook. The evening was hosted by Italian actor Lorena Bianchetti, who honoured Baglietto’s long-standing presence in the Italian yachting sector.
The company’s history is documented in the book, Baglietto: The Art of Yachting Since 1854, written by Antonio Macaluso and published by Rizzoli. This book was presented during the event and will be available in bookstores on 29 October 2024.
During the celebration, Baglietto also introduced a new design concept marking over 30 years of collaboration with designer Francesco Paszkowski.
