The wild edges of Tasmania have always called to those who crave more than just a leisurely stroll through nature. It’s a place where landscapes are carved from ancient stone and the air hums with stories as old as the cliffs themselves. And now, for the first time, the Tasmanian Walking Company (TWC) offers an adventure that touches every corner of this rugged beauty—literally. The Three Capes Adventure Walk, launching this December, takes guests further, deeper, and to all three of the namesake capes: Pillar, Hauy, and, finally, the long-elusive Raoul.
Until now, only two capes were within reach. Two out of three, as Meatloaf would croon, ain’t bad. But in the world of the TWC, “not bad” just doesn’t cut it. This new adventure is bigger, tougher, and more immersive, stretching 50 percent longer than the classic Three Capes Signature Walk and adding an extra day’s accommodation in a premium, tented haven nestled deep in the wilderness.
This expansion isn’t just about more steps—it’s about stepping onto all three capes, marking the first time a guided walk has included Cape Raoul.
