Fjord has introduced its latest model, the Fjord 490, available in two versions: the Fjord 490 Open with inboard engines and the Fjord 490 Sport with outboard engines.
Customers can choose between two propulsion options. There are two Volvo Penta inboard engines on the Open, each offering up to 800 hp and reaching speeds of 34 knots. There are three Mercury V12 Verado outboard engines on the Sport, each delivering 600 hp for speeds of up to 45 knots. Both configurations are designed to provide strong performance and agility in a range of conditions.
The new yacht marks the first collaboration between the Italian yacht designer Marco Casali and Fjord’s parent company, German boatbuilder HanseYachts. As with previous Fjord models, the Fjord 490 focuses on power, stability, and durability, with a hydrodynamically optimised hull and reinforced construction.
