Built for an Australian family with extensive yachting experience, the Benetti 50-metre B.Now Alunya has a steel hull and aluminum superstructure. British studio RWD was responsible for the concept and exterior styling with its vertical bow lines, and Pierluigi Ausonio’s P.L.A.N.A. naval architecture studio designed the efficient hull shape. Meanwhile, Benetti’s in-house design team worked closely with the owners on the design and configuration of the interiors to make the most of the yacht’s four decks and 9.2-metre beam.
But, more than anything else, Alunya shows just how much you can achieve when you combine a B.Now platform with an Oasis Deck.
While the design and build quality of the yacht are firmly grounded in Benetti’s DNA of quality and attention to detail, the viewpoint on life at sea has been reinterpreted. Alunya reflects this new, more dynamic, less formal lifestyle concept, and was designed for a seafaring family that really wants to experience the areas that the yacht cruises to as well as live life aboard in the most comfortable and convivial way.
