Capella Sydney lights up with its latest culinary venture — the launch of the inaugural Chef in Residence series at the glistening Aperture, graced by the illustrious Federico Zanellato of Lode Pies. Starting this mid-June, for eight weeks of gastronomic revelry, Federico teams up with Capella Sydney’s own culinary maestro, Gabriele Taddeucci, to bring the essence of Lode right into the heart of Sydney.
Beneath the hypnotic dance of ‘Meadow,’ a kinetic sculpture by the art duo DRIFT, tuck into a pie that’s nothing short of a masterpiece — Blackmore wagyu with a chianti red wine jus, or perhaps truffle & comté nestled in layers of potato dauphinoise.
From 5 to 7 each weekday evening, as the city unwinds, Aperture becomes a sanctuary where the after-work crowd can sip on Young Henry’s Sandstone Lager or a curated selection of house wines, each glass chiming perfectly with plates priced at a neat $45 a pop.
