Windstar Cruises, a veritable David amongst the cruising Goliaths, has unveiled with no small amount of pomp and circumstance its latest nautical knight, the Star Seeker.
The ship is destined to gallivant through the icy splendours of Alaska and the enigmatic charms of Japan come 2026, revisiting haunts last seen by the fleet in the seemingly distant 2023. With the Star Breeze gallantly assigned to eternal summer duties in Tahiti, the stage was set for a triumphant return.
Christopher Prelog, the skipper of this fleet—not in title, but certainly in spirit—could barely contain his enthusiasm. “We are really happy to be able to bring back Alaska and Japan for our guests,” he declared, barely keeping the secret under his captain’s hat.
“We know these are popular destinations, and we have many people asking us to return there. We can’t keep this secret any longer.”
