Numarine has offered a progress update on the construction of its new superyacht, which will become the Turkish boatbuilder’s new flagship in 2025 with the launch of the first unit.
The hull of the 40MXP project has been turned and moved to the shipyard for outfitting.
The 40MXP offers several new design features while preserving the same style cues and DNA as its siblings.
The ‘MXP’ stands for Mediterranean Explorer, reflecting the beach-club lifestyle typical of Med yachts. At two metres longer than the 37XP, the new 40MXP draws on the Med lifestyle idea in several ways.
First, the aft deck has been enlarged both due to the extra length and by moving the aft sliding doors to the saloon forward by three metres.
