The second unit of the new Mangusta Oceano 39 series has been launched at the Overmarine Group shipyard in Viareggio, northern Italy.
The Mangusta Oceano 39 is a three-decker designed by the shipyard’s technical department with designer Alberto Mancini, a longtime Mangusta collaborator. Naval engineering is by the Italian design firm Verme.
This sleek 39.2-metre model, the entry-level of Mangusta’s Oceano displacement line, is built in composite material.
Stefano Arlunno, Mangusta President Americas, says the Mangusta Oceano series has been an “outstanding commercial success” in the United States. The Italian boatbuilder says generous volumes of 330 GT help to create a seamless living experience at sea, epitomised by the minimal look of the all-glass gunwales on the upper deck and large floor-to-ceiling glazed surfaces on the main and upper decks.
