The Zeelander 8, the new flagship of the Dutch yachting brand, is within weeks of being launched. Work is proceeding at the Groot Ammers-based shipyard, with the yacht set for delivery in July.
The 24-metre yacht, which has been purchased by an experienced owner, will be based on the French Riviera.
Zeelander says its precise moulding process leaves almost no requirement for fairing, so the hull has already moved through the paint booth. The first hull has been painted in Porsche rhodium silver, with contrasting orange and flag blue lines at the waterline.
The superstructure has also been painted pearl white, and the shipyard describes the yacht as having “79ft of flawless, gleaming finish.”
