A wave of Australian businesses have joined the World Boating Day movement, culminating in a series of free events this month at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show on the Gold Coast and across Australia.
The Superyacht Life Foundation developed the first World Boating Day campaign, which will take place on May 25 and 26 2024.
The dates of the inaugural celebration coincide with this year’s Sanctuary Cove show, one of Australia’s key events for the leisure boating industry.
Following Luke McCaul of Zeal Marinas‘ appointment as the South Pacific ambassador, the World Boating Day movement has garnered the interest of several key industry players.
“As Australia’s largest marine event, the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS) is excited to support the inaugural World Boating Day,” says Johan Hasser, general manager of Mulpha Events.
