MarineMax to acquire Williams Tenders USA | 24m Baltic 80 Custom pink sailing yacht begins construction

Construction begins on second 35m Southern Wind SW108 Smart Custom sailing yacht South African-based yacht builder Southern Wind has announced that construction has commenced on the second 35.41-metre in-build SW108 Smart Custom sailing yacht. The second unit of the SW108 Smart Custom series, follows the success of her Smart Custom sistership Gelliceaux and is under construction for a European client. The yacht was sold in Autumn 2023, with the lamination process now completed and work on her interior and internal systems commencing shortly. Onboard 78m Golden Yachts superyacht O’Rea renamed Malia Previously named O’Rea, the 77.7-metre Golden Yachts superyacht Malia displays a modern interior aesthetic. Launched last year, the 1,596 GT superyacht marks one of Golden Yachts’ most ambitious projects to date. Showcasing a streamlined profile, Malia features longitudinal windows and a trideck axe bow design. The superyacht’s strong muscular lines create a bold exterior, enhanced by her trapezium shaped windows.
