Miami Yacht Show and Miami International Boat Show Join Forces for Unparalleled 2022 Event
We are thrilled to announce that Informa Markets, co-owner and operator of Miami Yacht Show and Superyacht Miami, is embarking on an exciting journey to evolve and grow our boat show portfolio, joining forces with the NMMA and taking over management of both the Miami International Boat Show and Tampa Boat Show, with the guide and direction of the NMMA, who remain owners of the show.
Through this partnership, the Miami Yacht Show, Superyacht Miami and the Miami International Boat Show will combine to create the first-ever joint event, launching February 16-20, 2022 over President’s Day weekend. The merger of these signature boating events in Miami creates one of the largest boat shows in the world and the ultimate sales and marketing venue for our exhibitors, attendees, and partners.
This will include an expansion of our existing in-water components at the Genting location, as well as the on-land component at the newly renovated Miami Beach Convention Center, and the addition of a large adjacent outdoor venue at Miami Beach’s Pride Park, which is set to host incredible experiences and activations for all show visitors, as well as the re-introduction of Miami Dealer Days.
Bringing the Miami Yacht Show, Superyacht Miami and Miami International Boat Show together collectively under our management will allow us to leverage the talent and resources of all three shows to provide an unparalleled experience that provides exponential growth for marine manufacturers and enthusiasts, and provides a seamless experience for visitors and exhibitors alike. While the shows will be combined to maximize value for the marine community, we recognize the value of preserving the unique elements of the show that you value most in order to directly support and enhance the experience for our Yachting community. The spirit and culture of the Yacht shows will remain intact, while simultaneously ensuring broader reach for our community and additional educational and experiential opportunities targeted at Yachting enthusiasts.
In the coming weeks, we will be reaching out to provide an update on the 2021 show, and further details about the experience you can expect at the joint 2022 event.
We are honored to be able to take this next step to further commitment to you, to the larger marine community, and to the community of South Florida, and hope you join us in our excitement about the potential this platform provides.
Thank you for being part of the Miami Yacht Show and Superyacht Miami family—we appreciate your continued support.
Sincerely,
Andrew Doole
