I began my career in the film industry over a decade ago at Deluxe Digital, before moving onto Theatrical Sales departments of Warner Brothers and later Twentieth Century Fox.
My practical knowledge of the business of film is supported by my First Class Honours Degree in Film and Media from University of London.
I joined The Philm Company in 2012 and produced THE LAST SHOWING, a $2m psychological thriller, starring Robert Englund (NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET), Emily Berrington (24, HUMANS) and Finn Jones (GAME OF THRONES), which sold to Sony Pictures in the UK, as well as a number of top distributors around the world. I have also raised a development fund, which allowed for the production of the BAPTISM SPEC TRAILER and purchase of a number of options on books and scripts.
In 2014 I produced THE FOUR WARRIORS - family action adventure, released by distribution companies, such as Metrodome (UK), Lionsgate (US) in 2015, amongst many others globally.
One of my most recent producing credits is for a US shot thriller - INDISCRETION, starring Oscar winner Mira Sorvino, Cary Elwes, Christopher Backus and Katherine McNamara, represented domestically by Preferred Content.
I have recently became a winner of UK Trade & Investment’s competition – Talent Goes to Hollywood for the spec trailer Baptism (a feature film I am in development with alongside director Phil Hawkins), and was awarded a trip to Los Angeles for the BAFTA Britannia Awards, as well as a number of meetings with Hollywood studios and high profile production companies in order to finance the project.
I am currently in development on a number of projects including a teen horror, two comedies and a couple of action films. Alongside fellow producer Jennifer Handorf, I run a series of film industry talks, at private member’s clubs: Soho House and the Century Club, as well as guest lecture at the London Met Film School and Norwich University.
And I always welcome a challenge!
