The Phuket Yacht Club Sailing School was founded in 2016 and in 2020 gained International Sailing Schools Association accreditation.
The club employs two full time coaches and provides sailing tuition for children 7 years and over with swimming being the only pre-requisite skill required. Our sailing sessions for both children and adults are professional, focus on fun, on the water safety with a ratio of 10% class room theory and 90% on the water boat handling.
The international O’pen Skiff is the PYC junior training platform of choice. The class is recognized by the sports governing body ‘World Sailing’ and is the first step on the preferred pathway towards international and Olympic competition if so desired.
Learn to sail sessions run each weekend and scheduled school holidays. Private sessions for children and or adults are available upon request.
