Port Takola Marina Co.,Ltd. is the family owned company purposed with designing, planning, and managing Port Takola marina and waterfront community in Krabi, Thailand. This pioneering project will be a low-density development featuring a 250 berths yacht marina, waterfront residences, health and wellness facilities and a shopping village, located on the coast of Baan Laem Pho, Tambol Sai Thai, in Muang District,

The estate has been owned by the family for several generations. It was originally granted to Phraya Gangadharadhipati, the former governor of Krabi, Phang Nga and Mandala of Chumphon and Surat Thani, who also served as a privy councilor for HRH King Rama VI of Thailand. Upon his retirement, the governor was granted first and second title deeds to two plots of land with an approximate total area of 300 acres. This was used as a coconut plantation until his passing in 1943, after which his heirs continued to use the property for agricultural purposes.

Now, as Krabi has grown into an international tourist destination, the family estate has naturally increased in value due to both its ideal location on the coast in the central Muang District, and its rich surroundings. To the east is the Andaman Sea that forms part of Haad Noppharat Thara and Phi Phi Archipelago National Marine Park, while to the west is a protected conservation area of mangrove forest. The north side of the property borders the Jilad River, directly opposite the office of the Krabi Provincial Administration, the H.T.M.S Lanta museum and the main tourist ferry pier. To the south of the property lies the geological miracle of the 75 million-year-old gastropod fossil beach and 5km further along the coast is Ao Nang, Krabispremier tourist destination.

The company commissions a reputed international marina consultant to develop the marina master plan, and also working with closely with local stakeholders,to ensure the projects success. The first phase of the Port Takola waterfront community is expected to complete in mid 2015.
