JAN 1, 2021 - IMPORTANT CHANGES REGARDING THE DUTCH ICP BOAT REGISTRATION
We have been informed by the Dutch Maritime Authorities (watersport verbond) of some big changes that are rolling out between now and March 1, 2021;
It will no longer be possible for NON-DUTCH CITIZENS OR RESIDENTS to register their vessel thru the Dutch ICP boat registration! This new policy has not been published officially yet but as we are the largest registrar of Dutch ICP boat registrations, we have to inform our clients that even before the new law starts on March 1, 2021, the maritime authority will already start requesting Dutch residency or citizenship from Jan 1, 2021.
Over the past 2 years the Dutch ICP was already not accepted in Portugal, Italy and Spain.
However, we have a perfect solution at a similar price and it is valid for life (no renewal cost) Do you still need a European Union flag registration that is valid around the world and is available to all nationalities? We can provide you with a Polish (EU) flag registration. This registration is valid for the lifetime of the boat and therefore you will not need to renew your paperwork. The Polish Registration is an actual vessel flag registration and not an ownership document, like the Dutch ICP and is valid around the world with no limitations. The whole process is very simple, as you do not need a yacht survey and we can arrange a fully valid provisional registration in 2 days. The Dutch registration is actually a document of ownership but in that capacity, is accepted in most European countries when arriving in a port and handing over your documents. We can provide you with a MMSI, ATIS and Callsign within 24 hours for your vessel. With this license, that will be issued by the British Telecom Authorities, you can use a VHF, AIS and EPIRB on your boat.

URGENT UPDATE: We have been notified by the Dutch and Spanish maritime departments that the Dutch ICP is per direct no longer valid in Spanish waters. The Dutch ICP is also not valid in Portugal and Italy but is valid in the rest of Europe.
