NMMA is the industry’s unifying force working to do those things that no single company can do on their own, yet are critical for current and future success: Promote and Protect recreational boating.

NMMA also works tirelessly to keep recreational boating top of mind with consumers and legislators at the federal and state level. No other local, state or national organization invests more on behalf of our industry. As a non-profit, member-driven 501c, NMMA reinvests its revenue back into recreational boating.

Join NMMA and become an active stakeholder in protecting your business and growing our industry while taking advantage of exclusive NMMA member resources and benefits.

Interest to become an NMMA member?

Thank you for your interest in joining the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA). When you join NMMA you are investing in the future of your company and the marine industry. You are joining forces with a powerful voice for recreational boating and the industry’s leading advocate.

Typically, companies like yours have joined NMMA because they are frustrated with the regulatory policies generated from Washington DC that have a negative impact on marine manufacturers and recreational boaters; or struggle with access to current comprehensive analytical industry data, market research and economic news impacting the marine industry; are challenged with reaching the right customer base for your product; or are concerned with the general long-term decline in recreation boating participation and sales.

Are any of these issues impacting your business growth? If so, I would encourage you to take a few minutes to review the details and web pages throughout the membership section and NMMA.org. Or perhaps you can share some of your business goals and objectives with Bryan Welsh, Director, Member Services, and he can address how NMMA can help you reach them.

By joining NMMA, you would become a stakeholder in the success of the association’s collective effort to protect recreational boating through public policy advocacy and increase participation and industry sales by expanding the market for recreational boating. Your annual membership fee would directly fund the initiatives, programs, and efforts of NMMA staff that is dedicated to these two vital objectives.  All that we do, including boat shows, marketing communications, statistics and research, certification and more, support those two core objectives.

I invite you to explore our site and discover what NMMA membership can mean for your business. We look forward to welcoming you aboard.

President, NMMA
