Salvage plans underway for 56m Perini Navi sailing yacht Bayesian after sinking off Palermo
The 142-metre Lürssen superyacht Dragonfly is preparing to depart the Lemwerder facility in Germany in preparation for delivery to her owner. Previously known as Alibaba, Dragonfly will soon make her way to Barcelona where she will spend seven days at the MB92 facility.
Plans are now underway to salvage the 56-metre Perini Navi sailing yacht Bayesian, which sank off the coast of Palermo, Italy on Monday 19 August 2024. More than three months after the sinking, a group of insurers led by British Marine, which covers the yacht owned by the Lynch family, submitted eight potential salvage plans to the prosecutor’s office in Termini Imerese.
