Festival sets sail

Hosted by ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove, the second Singapore Yachting Festival (SYF) will take place from 25 to 28 April 2024. It will showcase over 70 yachts alongside an array of marine crafts, supercars, hydrofoil boats, and more.

Organisers report that all booths and berths are fully subscribed, with over 100 yacht brands and marine suppliers presenting a selection of debuts and world premieres.

There has been a notable increase in hybrid-capable vessels and cutting-edge technological innovations among these attendees compared to SYF 2023.

The lineup also highlights the industry’s increased focus on sustainability, featuring eco-conscious designs, such as the solar array on the Greenline 40 and the Magellano 60, which can use Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil (HVO). Ferretti Group extolls the glass cockpit on the Wallywhy 200, which is said to allow more natural light and decrease the need for electricity.
